Note:

The bay at Watzl’s Beach can become shallow and encumbered with weeds; the City recommends those with Jet Boats do not rent a seasonal slip.

Slips are required to be vacated between 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on July 4 to facilitate the setup and launching of fireworks from Watzl’s Beach. If the fireworks show is rescheduled due to weather, renters maybe contacted to remove their boat from docks as early as July 3.

Vehicles must be removed from City parking lots by 10 pm. Overnight parking is not allowed.

Parking lots at Lakefront Park are the closest public parking to Watzl’s Beach. The beach is approximately 0.25 mile from the parking lot area. Please note that during Lakefront Music Fest (July 11 and 12), parking is not available at Lakefront Park. Watzl’s Beach will still be accessible during the event.

Refunds may be issued prior to the city notifying renters the boat slips are ready for use, 10% of the rental fee
will be kept as a processing and administrative fee.
After the season has begun, the refund schedule is as follows:
• Up until June 30: 50% refund
• July 1 through the end of the season: no refund is given

All watercraft in the boat slips must be removed from the water by October 12, 2025. A charge of $100.00 per day will be assessed for each day the boat is in violation of the October removal date.

NOTE: The insurance policy holder name and address must match the application.
